What are some really good Hair Growth Products for ethnic hair?

My best friend who is like my little sister has ethnic hair that lays right on her shoulders. She used to straighten her hair a lot, but has stopped to get it back to health. Now her hair is healthy, but it does not grow. She has tried biotin pills, mega hair growth lotion, some kind of drops, and moisturizers. Its really sad and she is really depressed and i was wondering if anyone knows of ethnic hair care products that helps hair growth. It has to actually work because i cant take her crying anymore, i love her and i told her i would help. Thank you so much!

We also must moisturize our hair because it’s very dry. Use a water-based moisturizer and tell her to steer away from products with mineral oil/petroleum.

If she wants long hair it will be a commitment at first. I know I had to stop using almost all of my hair products because they contained harmful ingredients such as cones, petroleum, mineral oil, and sulphates which are drying to our hair.
